In collaboration with the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, coordinated
a multi-million dollar fundraising program to assist eight congregations of
sisters in New Orleans to rebuild social and educational ministries serving the
poor.

Documented the retirement crisis faced by U.S. religious orders and mobilized
millions of donors across the country to assist elderly nuns and priests to
live in circumstances of dignity and security in their old age.

Played a major role influencing more open discussion on the use of money and
the enlistment of volunteers and talent in dioceses and parishes throughout the
country.

Created the first national training institute for those responsible for
recruiting priests and religious.

Started several charitable organizations including Support Our Aging Religious
and the National Campaign for the Church in Eastern and Central Europe.

Commissioned in collaboration with the Vatican, the first independent
management study of the Holy See resulting in the use of new office technology
and the development of better fund raising.

Inaugurated the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management and other
measures designed to strengthen the financial and human resource management of
dioceses and parishes.

Conducted nearly 100 national conferences on church life resulting in the wide
spread use of church related research and numerous foundation initiatives.
