Mercy Delegation & Member Retreat

New Orleans, LA

New Orleans Retreat PicIn fall 2016, as the Year of Mercy drew to a close, FADICA hosted a gathering on the 40th Anniversary of its founding and the 10th Anniversary of FADICA members’ post-Katrina initiative, which supported the rebuilding of diverse ministries of Catholic sisters. The Church in New Orleans has a rich and deep history, creative social justice and ministry programs, and a legacy of Catholic education. This Mercy Delegation and Retreat gave members the opportunity to experience the continued recovery from Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf oil spill, and the resilient spirit and faith of ministries in New Orleans.
