Monthly Conversations
Regular virtual gatherings provide space for discussion and fellowship around topics relevant to next-generation philanthropists. Conversations may feature guest speakers, peer-led discussions, family foundation leadership, Catholic philanthropy, or emerging issues.
In-Person Gatherings
Regional gatherings, site visits, service opportunities, and NextGen programming at FADICA events bring members together for shared experiences, learning, and deeper connections.
Collaborative Grantmaking
Through a NextGen grantmaking board within FADICA, members can work together to support organizations and causes they care about while gaining experience in the practice of collaborative philanthropy.
A Resource for the Journey
In 2017, FADICA published The Next Generation of Catholic Philanthropists: Inspiration and Ideas for Engagement, drawing on research, conversations with experts, and the experiences of FADICA members.
The resource explores practical ways families and foundations can engage younger generations in philanthropy, including formation, mentoring, hands-on experiences, and opportunities for young philanthropists to discover their own passions and leadership.
