FADICA has announced the public launch of the Funder Safeguarding Initiative Resource Hub, now offering free, online tools to help any nonprofit or faith-based organization develop or expand safeguarding practices.
New & updated features of the website include:
- Video-based training for every stage of safeguarding
- a 5-part Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults module (in English & Spanish)
- An updated Funder Toolkit with practical tips for supporting safe environments
The expansion of this initiative is a result of a 5-year pilot program developed through our partnership with the safeguarding experts at Praesidium and offered exclusively to FADICA members and their grantee partners. Recognizing that the cost for training is a barrier to nonprofit engagement in safeguarding, FADICA is now providing these resources at no cost for all nonprofit and faith-based organizations.
FADICA is grateful to all the members and their grantee partners who participated in the pilot program which led to the creation of the Resource Hub. These efforts have advanced FADICA’s commitment to protect human dignity and elevate safeguarding as an operational priority.
